SERDANG, August 2 - The Alumni Association of PALAPES U-Putra (ALPUTRA) has donated RM30,000 to Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through the UPM Alumni Relations Centre.

The handover of the cheque replica by ALPUTRA President, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Haji Mazlan Lazim, to UPM Vice Chancellor, YH. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, took place last July 24.

Also, the handover of the 2 Generation Batik Canting Paintings: Buying While Donating took place for a month at the Sultan Abdul Samad Library (PSAS), UPM, intending to be made a 2 Generation Scholarship, was presented to Tan Sri Datuk Seri Haji Mazlan.

The handover was completed by batik canting artist, Mohd Isnain Ali, to Tan Sri Datuk Seri Haji Mazlan Lazim, who was also one of the buyers and contributors to the scholarship. - UPM
