KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Jan – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Bachelor of Civil Engineering graduate 2018, Muhammad Khairul Faiz Mohd Shafri was awarded the UEM Medal Awards 2018 for his excellent achievement in the field of engineering.

Khairul was chosen based on his excellent achievement in the final year project assessment, interview session by UEM and involvement in co-curricular activities throughout his studies in UPM.

The UEM Foundation award recognised seven graduates from public universities for their excellent achievements in various fields of studies. Each graduate received RM5,000 cash prize and a certificate from UEM.

Apart from engineering, other fields involved are Business Management and Science Management.

Also attended at the prize giving ceremony by UEM Group Chairman, Datuk Noorazman Abd Aziz, were the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Nor Kamariah Nordin, Head of Civil Engineering Department, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Raizal Sailfulnaz Muhammad Rashid and the recipient’s supervisor, Dr.Aidi Hizami Ales@Alias.
